Well done to Saturdays crew for a successful and eventful 1st descent of the Lower River Findhorn for 2007.

In true form to this years very mild winter we were blessed with a great day with good light and mild temperatures.

Starting from front left going clockwise we have the crew of Catherine, Sarah, Phil, John and Tom with trainee guide, Rafa in the background

Starting from front left going clockwise we have the second crew of Sean, Pauline, Ian, and Susan with the legendary if not mad Scottish water rat, crazy Dave Campbell as their guide in the background.

This serious group of hardened thrill seekers are just about ready to head off from the last drop of Randolph's Leap

A slightly more exuberant looking group set to face the challenges of the day, or are they just revved up by Dave's insatiable enthusiasm? It works better with the paddles in the water by the way...

Elation after successfully negotiating the Cork Screw, no one wanted a second capsize for the day!  You can open your eyes now John...

Another sweet line through the Cork Screw....

A big Happy Birthday to Ian Earnshaw who celebrated by jumping headlong, well feet first,  into the dark depths of the tannin waters that is the Findhorn
