The Ace Adventure Rafting season kicked off today with a run down the Upper Findhorn.  It was a double celebration as Derek Leith was celebrating his 18th Birthday in style!!

Derek and his mates Scott Houston, Scott Rowell, Ross Goodsbrund, Stephan Devlin, Callum Scott, Jonathon Oakes and Blair MacIntyre all from Aberdeen and in true Highland style turned up donning shorts and were brave enough to have a swim, there was one that passed the intelligence test though, who was that masked man? 

It must be said that the weather was a sultry 6 degrees with light overcast and plenty of wind and not just from the breakfast of champions the boys enjoyed that morning.

In addition we had Jeremy Ushersmouth  from  Wild Scotland  giving us some expert knowledge of the  world around us that day.

Legendary Lee Kelly  headed up the day as trip leader and a smooth run in excellent  conditions  made for a great day out.
